Experience:
Tamara is an admitted attorney and an accredited commercial mediator (Conflict Dynamics). She has spent over 20 years lecturing the subject of law at various tertiary institutions. From 2011 to 2016 Tamara was Associate-Professor in the faculty of Law, at the University of KZN as well as Programme Director of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations (CCMA Labour Dispute Resolution Practice Qualification). She is currently an Honorary Research Fellow at UKZN. She has presented labour law-related papers at many national and international conferences and has written and reviewed articles for a number of prestigious law journals. She has co-authored a number of leading books on labour law. Tamara has extensive experience in training and facilitation in the field of labour law and has developed and delivered training programmes and workshops on many areas including Disciplinary Skills; Labour Law and Advanced Labour Law, Sexual Harassment and Conflict Resolution.
